When I first heard about the goal of CVV, I knew it was where I had to be! All the professors are experts in their respective fields, and communicate their knowledge and passion to peak our interest. They are easily approachable and readily available to offer guidance and to discuss the subject matter in depth. We feel like they are our friends and this is really precious.

My journey here has been full of opportunities: presenting papers at national and international conferences, workshops with eminent dignitaries like Dr Dami, publishing research under the guidance of the faculty— all these have increased my exposure to the field. Outside the classroom, CVV has nurtured my passion for reading and dancing. I have had opportunity to dance at several events.

I’ve always wanted to do music and when I learned that this university offers a combination of gurukul and university, I applied for it. I was at Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukul for five years—three years during my Bachelors course and two years during my Masters. The atmosphere and environment there are so good that we are inspired to practice our art. The faculty, gurus, and office staff always made us comfortable and always pushed me to work hard and practice more.

At CVV, it’s not just about learning a particular subject. It also makes uslook at life and ask certain existential questions. Who am I? What am I doing? Why am I studying and what I am studying? CVV also allows me as an Indian to understand my culture better.

The wonderful and innovative teaching methods adopted by CVV really differentiates it from other universities. They changed my life and I am sure all students of CVV will graduate with a grander, more expansive vision. CVV gave me confidence, improved my communication skills and creativity, and deepened my knowledge base.
